Running Accomplishments:

I have run a few half-marathons. My goal is to get faster.

 

Long-Term Running Goals:

Eventually my husband wants me to run a marathon with him. My other goals is to try and keep healthy and fit for life.

Personal:

Married to my handsome husband (Big Dog) with 5 beautiful children, Anycia 16, AJ 13, McKade 8, Jadyn 5, and Kamri 9 months.  I just had Kamri in September and I am trying to get into shape after 9 years.  One thing against me is my Rheumatoid Arthritis that I have had since I was 16.  Working through it and trying to keep going.  My husband is a great support and a runner himself.  I just wanted to join in and do something he does...maybe I will be able to keep up with him someday.  So yes I am definitely a beginner runner.

We were at Seven Peaks all day long from open to close...it was lots of fun! then i came home and ran in the dark...it was perfect weather.

Took Kamri on a stroller run. Much harder to run but she did well riding. Glad i got up and did it.

Ran last night. Trying to run distance and not worry about going fast. So I did a very slow 13 minute mile. Ran the whole time didn't walk...gotta do six tomorrow. Only 3 1/2 weeks until the half marathon and I am not even close to being ready...Oh well, I am still doing it.

This was a race we signed up for the night before.  My husband and I ran together and pushed the jog stroller. I haven't been running so this time was ok...didn't beat my 29:29 from the Run-4-Kids 5k.

Ran 6 miles last night. I finished in 1:03. I was so happy and proud of myself. Farthest I have ran ever. So this was a big accomplishment for me. For those Elite Runners this is slow...but hey I am still a beginner! The half marathon is in a week and a half...if I finish in 2:45 I will be happy!
